Job Description: Restaurant Cleaner

Job Purpose:

To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the restaurant premises (dining area, glass surfaces, and restrooms) to ensure a comfortable and sanitary environment for customers and uphold the restaurant’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities:
β€’ Dining Area Maintenance:
β€’ Clean and sanitize customer tables immediately after departure.
β€’ Clear food remains, debris, and used tableware from tables and transport them to the dishwashing area.
β€’ Sweep and mop floors regularly to ensure they are free of dust, spills, or stains.
β€’ Glass and Surface Cleaning:
β€’ Clean and polish glass windows, mirrors, and doors periodically to ensure they are spotless and smudge-free.
β€’ Restroom Sanitation:
β€’ Clean and disinfect restrooms frequently throughout the shift.
β€’ Replenish supplies (paper towels, soap, air fresheners) and ensure they are always available.
β€’ Waste Management:
β€’ Empty trash bins in the dining area and restrooms and dispose of waste in designated areas following health protocols.
β€’ General Organization:
β€’ Realign chairs and tables to ensure the dining area looks organized and welcoming for guests.

Requirements and Qualifications:
β€’ Languages: Proficient in speaking Arabic or English (for basic communication with staff and customers).
β€’ Personal Skills:
β€’ Physical fitness and the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
β€’ Polite and professional demeanor when working around customers.
β€’ Strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
β€’ Experience: Previous experience in restaurant or hotel cleaning is preferred.

Key Competencies:
β€’ Strong attention to detail (spotting stains on glass, corners, etc.).
β€’ Ability to work effectively within a team and coordinate with service staff.
