Our client, a leading facilities management provider, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Industrial Cleaner and Hygiene Specialist to join their dedicated team in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, ZA . Responsibilities:
Perform advanced industrial cleaning tasks in diverse settings, including factories, warehouses, and commercial buildings. Operate and maintain specialized cleaning equipment, such as industrial vacuums, pressure washers, and floor scrubbers. Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive cleaning and hygiene programs. Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies. Train and supervise junior cleaning staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the use of equipment. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify cleaning needs and potential hazards. Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA standards). Experience in developing and implementing hygiene protocols.
