Job Description
JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of an armed security supervisor- Psira registered Grade B, is to ensure the safety and security of the premises, assets, and personnel. You are responsible for overseeing security operations, managing security personnel, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel across various locations.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and training programs to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations pertaining to armed security operations.
• Manage incident reports, thoroughly investigating breaches and taking appropriate corrective actions as required.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other relevant agencies to ensure a unified response to security incidents.
• Provide ongoing training and mentoring to security staff to uphold service excellence and professionalism.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Valid Psira Grade B registration with armed response qualification code 061
• Proven work experience as a Security Guard Supervisor or relevant position
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism
• Excellent Report writing skills
• Grade 12
• Valid driving license
• Own vehicle
• Original police clearance certificate to be submitted with the appilcation
