About the Role

An established plumbing and civils company is seeking an experienced and qualified Plumber to join their growing team. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager and play a critical role in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing, drainage, and heating systems in both residential and commercial settings.

You'll need to bring strong technical skills, a proactive approach, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
• Perform general plumbing work, maintenance, and repairs.
• Install and service pipes, fittings, drainage systems, and water-related fixtures.
• Manage stock and ensure quality control on projects.
• Work from building plans and technical drawings.
• Carry out plumbing inspections and handle emergencies.
• Liaise with contractors and other trades on-site.
• Keep clear records of work done and materials used.
• Assist with basic construction work (e.g. plastering, carpentry, light electrical).
• Prepare quotes, budgets, and reports when needed.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements
• Recognised plumbing qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of construction methods and safety regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual preferred.
• Comfortable using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• South African citizenship
