Job Description
Introduction

We are lookoing for a cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the hotel and spa facilities, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Clean and maintain guest areas including rooms, reception, spa treatment rooms, restrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors
• Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Clean mirrors, windows, and glass surfaces
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with hygiene standards
• Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials
• Ensure spa areas (treatment rooms, sauna, steam rooms, etc.) are hygienic and well-maintained
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation policies at all times
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks as required

Desired Experience & Qualification
• Grade 10 / Matric (preferred but not essential)
• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience in a hotel, spa, or similar environment is an advantage
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Basic understanding of hygiene and safety standards
