Position: Plumber

Crew Life at Sea is seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Plumber, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our vessels at sea.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems on board our vessels

- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues

- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure proper functioning

- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine layout and installation of plumbing systems

- Collaborate with other crew members to plan and execute plumbing projects

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

- Communicate effectively with other crew members and superiors to ensure timely completion of tasks

- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in plumbing technology and techniques

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Plumber, preferably in a marine or industrial setting

- Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Physically fit and able to work in a physically demanding environment

- Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule and be on call for emergencies

- Valid plumbing license or certification is preferred
