Senior Electrician

A reputable organisation is looking for an experienced Senior Electrician to lead installations, oversee teams, and manage advanced electrical and renewable energy systems. This role requires strong technical expertise and leadership capability.
Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute and oversee MV/LV cable installation, termination, and testing (up to 11kV)
• Lead the installation, fault-finding, and commissioning of PV (solar) and BESS systems
• Perform and oversee routine maintenance on electrical installations and borehole pumps
• Manage house wiring, electrical fencing, and energy metering projects
• Supervise installation teams and ensure quality workmanship
• Build, configure, and troubleshoot distribution boards and control systems
• Conduct advanced fault-finding and system optimisation
• Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff

Minimum Requirements:
• Trade Certificate as an Electrician
• Valid Wireman’s License
• Proven experience with solar (PV) systems and battery energy storage systems (BESS)
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Leadership experience managing teams on-site
• Valid driver’s license
