Job Description
**About the Assistant Electrician role**

The main role of the Assistant Electrician is to assist the Electrician on a daily basis on installations and to be able to work independently on custom required builds and servicing of equipment.
• *Assistant Electrician responsibilities**
- Assisting with Electrical System installation (UPS and Power quality equipment from installation to sign off).
- Be able to interpret basic electrical drawings.
- Basic Fault finding and diagnosis of electrical equipment.
- Maintain and Servicing of electrical equipment. (SLA agreements).
- Understanding and operation of hand and power tools
- Perform other various tasks as instructed by management.
• *Role requirements**:

- Matric/NQF4/Technical N3 in Electrical Field
- 3-5 years professional and industry experience.
- Ideally, basic knowledge of Power Solutions. (UPS and Power quality).
- Good written and verbal English.
- High degree of independence and personal responsibility.
- Detail orientated and ensures safe working environment at all times.
- Works well independently.
- Able to travel both locally and internationally for site assessments/fault finding and commissioning of equipment
- Must be in possession of a valid driver's licence (**essential**) and own vehicle (preferred).
