Job Description
A well established and fast growing company in Cape Town is seeking a qualified and experienced Three-Phase red seal Electrician with automation and Solar installation experience to join their dynamic team. Specializing in commercial, industrial, and residential clients.

We are looking for a person that is able to work well with people, a great leader, be a great communicator, have a positive spirit and be someone that goes the extra mile and is willing to get their hands dirty. Someone that wants to grow and is constantly challenging themselves to be better and faster at their work. This person must have a good background in various sectors of the electrical industry including industrial automation and control system installations and troubleshooting. Solar and backup installations and programming of various types of inverters and systems.

Requirements

Must have experience in solar and backup power systems.

Must have PV Greencard.

Must have experience in servicing, programming, maintaining and troubleshooting Solar systems.

Commercial Solar installation experience.

Electrical certificate of compliance inspection and repair experience.

Experience in working on residential, commercial and industrial sites.

Able to fault find on various electrical systems including control and industrial automation systems.

Experience in wiring distribution boards and control circuits.

Excellent attention to detail.

Generator installation experience.

Ability to work independently, in a team and lead a team and train assistants.

Work well with a team.

Will need to be hands on when it comes to the work.

Able to work under pressure and in stressful situations.

Good leadership skills.

Good at taking instructions from management.

Good communication and problem solving skills.

Good customer service skills.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and electronic schematics.

A fast worker.

Have a good attitude and wanting to better oneself in the electrical Field.

Computer literacy.

Valid drivers license.

DOL registered

South African ID.

Fluent in English and Afrikaans.

Sober habits and no criminal record. All checks will be done.

Must have a N4 - N6 qualification.

Minimum 5 years as a qualified electrician .

Minimum 2 years experience in solar installations.

Must be willing to work overtime, travel from time to time and be on a standby roster.

Must reside in Cape Town

A test of your knowledge and experience will be conducted at the time of interview.
