About the Role

Our client, a premier aviation ground services company at the Port Elizabeth airport, is seeking dedicated and reliable Aircraft Cabin Cleaners to join their team on a full-time basis. You will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within aircraft cabins between flights. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing a pleasant and safe environment for passengers. Working under tight schedules, you will ensure that each aircraft is meticulously cleaned and prepared for its next journey, contributing to the overall passenger experience and the airline's reputation.
Key Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of aircraft cabins, including vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, cleaning lavatories, and restocking supplies. Empty and clean galleys and remove all waste and rubbish according to airline and airport regulations. Ensure all passenger areas, including seats, tray tables, and overhead bins, are sanitized and presentable. Report any damages, defects, or missing items found in the cabin to the supervisor promptly. Adhere strictly to cleaning schedules and timeframes to ensure aircraft turnaround times are met. Follow all safety and hygiene protocols, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Requirements Previous experience in cleaning, preferably within the aviation or hospitality industry, is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently and maintain a high standard of cleanliness under pressure. Physically fit and able to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Must be able to pass background checks required for airport access.
