Job Description
A private residence in Polokwane, Limpopo is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to manage household cleaning. Duties include laundry and ironing, changing bed linen, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and occasional meal preparation assistance. Responsibilities
• Clean kitchen and breakroom areas including countertops, sinks, microwaves, and refrigerators, ensuring communal areas are hygienic.
• Manage and safely store all cleaning chemicals and equipment, ensuring hazardous substances are labelled and locked away when not in use.
• Operate industrial cleaning machinery such as floor polishers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers safely per training guidelines.
• Follow a daily cleaning schedule and checklist to ensure all assigned tasks are completed to the required standard within the allocated time.
• Dust and wipe all surfaces including desks, windowsills, ledges, picture frames, and skirting boards using appropriate cleaning cloths.
• Sweep, mop, and polish hard floor surfaces using appropriate cleaning products and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
