β€’ Purpose: The purpose of this job is to deliver exceptional customer service in such a manner that external and internal customers are satisfied including delivery and transfer drivers. This is accomplished by offering friendly customer service, ensuring clean and tidy environment and accurate loading of all customers’ products purchased ensuring that the Yard runs efficiently so that no losses of neither stock nor dissatisfied customers occur in order to have customers return to the store increasing sales and profit margins.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
β€’ Loading customers vehicles, delivery trucks and transfer trucks promptly and accurately
β€’ Ensuring that stock is properly stacked and counted
β€’ Assist with pulling of stock for transfers
β€’ Reporting stock shortages
β€’ Reporting stock breakages
β€’ Up keeping of tidiness and cleaning of area by sweeping and upholding good housekeeping
β€’ Assisting customers with excellent customer service and product knowledge
β€’ Bagging of stone/ sand
β€’ Participating in perpetual stocktakes
β€’ Ensuring housekeeping of work area
β€’ Performing any work related tasks as delegated by your superior

REQUIREMENTS:
β€’ Matric or Equivalent
β€’ 1 Year minimum experience in Plumbing & Irrigation department (preferred)
β€’ Ability to deliver excellent customer service
β€’ Ability to numerically count stock
β€’ Able to work independently and as a team player
β€’ Be disciplined and motivated
β€’ Ability to handle pressure
β€’ Ability to communicate effectively (verbal)
