Job Description
As a Pharmacy Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of medications and supplies to customers, care facilities, or healthcare providers. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a customer-focused attitude, and attention to safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Medication Delivery:
• Deliver prescriptions and pharmacy products to customers’ homes, nursing facilities, or clinics promptly.
• Ensure accuracy in delivering the correct medications to the right recipients.
• Customer Service:
• Communicate politely and professionally with customers, answering questions and providing assistance as needed.
• Handle any delivery-related complaints or escalate them to the pharmacy management.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Adhere to regulations regarding the transportation and handling of pharmaceuticals.
• Follow strict confidentiality guidelines, ensuring patient privacy.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
• Maintain the cleanliness and proper functioning of the delivery vehicle.
• Perform basic checks, such as fuel levels and tire pressure, and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Documentation:
• Accurately record delivery details, including signatures and timestamps, using manual logs or electronic systems.
• Verify delivery invoices and update pharmacy records as required.
• Route Management:
• Plan and optimize delivery routes for efficiency.
• Handle urgent or same-day delivery requests with a focus on prioritizing customer needs.

Requirements:
• Education & Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in delivery, courier, or similar roles preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications:
• Valid code 8 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Skills:
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of GPS or route navigation tools.
• Physical Demands:
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 25 kg.
• Comfortable with extended periods of driving and occasional walking/stair climbing.

Salary Range: R 10,000 – R 12,000 per month plus benefits.
