Introduction

Are you a detail-oriented Packaging professional passionate about innovation, cost-efficiency, and engineering excellence? We're looking for a Packaging Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in the development, optimization, and implementation of packaging solutions that are both fit-for-purpose and cost-effective.As part of our dynamic Packaging Team, you will support the Packaging Manager with introducing new packaging and configuration designs, improving existing solutions, and ensuring alignment with evolving manufacturing and customer needs.

Design & Development
• Design, test, and introduce new packaging using sound engineering principles.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to define packaging scope and requirements.
• Apply technical standards, DFMEAs, design guides, and SOPs to ensure high-quality packaging outcomes.
• Evaluate packaging performance and adapt to new or adjusted manufacturing processes as required.

Project Execution & Cost Optimization
• Execute packaging-related cost-saving initiatives and track their benefits.
• Assist with service level improvements and effective resolution of engineering change requests (ECRs).
• Support project management activities and report progress to ensure timely implementation.
• Investigate new packaging technologies, trends, and materials.
• Contribute to the packaging innovation library and collaborate with internal teams and suppliers.
• Stay updated on changes in packaging software capabilities, supplier processes, and manufacturing techniques.

Team Support & Knowledge Management
• Maintain design guides, technical standards, and lessons learned databases.
• Support other departments with packaging or packing-related matters.
• Escalate challenges appropriately and ensure alignment with business priorities.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering or advanced Packaging Diploma (highly advantageous)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a packaging environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, passion for innovation and continuous improvement
• Proactive and collaborative team player
• Familiarity with DFMEA, packaging standards, and CAD software is advantageous
