Dispatcher – 8 Hour (Schedule Base)

Location: Pinetown, Durban

Job Type: Permanent

Shift: Day Shift (Monday-Sunday on Rotation Schedule (12:00-08:00 08:00-16:00 16:00-24:00)
About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to manage daily guard operations for our area sites. This role is critical to ensuring smooth communication between guards, supervisors, and management while maintaining accurate scheduling and incident reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch security guards to assigned sites and respond to call-offs

Monitor attendance, shift coverage, and late arrivals

Communicate clearly with guards, supervisors, and management

Maintain daily logs, incident reports, and shift records

Handle incoming calls and respond to operational issues promptly

Use scheduling systems, Teams/WhatsApp, and basic office tools

Escalate emergencies or compliance issues as required

Requirements

Previous dispatching experience (security, logistics, or similar preferred)

Strong communication and multitasking skills

Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations

Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, knowledge of scheduling software)

Reliable transportation and punctuality

Microsoft Exposure

Security industry experience is a plus, but not required
