Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Code 08 Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team in Grassy Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely, safe, and efficient delivery of goods to customers, maintaining the company vehicle in excellent condition, and providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
β€’ Safely transport parcels and goods to various destinations in and around Cape Town.
β€’ Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
β€’ Handle parcels with care and verify delivery documentation.
β€’ Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle mileage, and fuel usage.
β€’ Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance issues.
β€’ Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times.
β€’ Assist with warehouse operations (loading, offloading, stock handling, and general support) when not on delivery runs.
β€’ Adhere to all traffic regulations and company operational policies.

Requirements:
β€’ Valid Code 08 driver’s license + PrDP
β€’ Minimum of 3 years’ daily driving and delivery experience, preferably in courier or parcel delivery.
β€’ Prior courier parcel delivery experience is essential.
β€’ Warehouse assistance knowledge or experience will be an added advantage.
β€’ Clean driving record (no endorsements).
β€’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
β€’ Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality.
β€’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
β€’ Good knowledge of Cape Town routes and surrounding areas will be beneficial.
