Our Client is looking for a Housekeeping Porter to join their team.

Main Responsibilities:
β€’ Assist housekeeping by supplying rooms with clean linen, towels, and supplies, and collect dirty laundry and other relevant items.
β€’ Perform deep cleaning tasks, including carpet cleaning, window washing, mattress cleaning, high dusting, and polishing furniture and curtain rails.
β€’ Assist with setting up guest rooms with special amenities or decorations for special occasions.
β€’ Ensure mini bars are correctly stocked and recorded.
β€’ Set up in-room bar trolleys according to menu lists, including required serving equipment such as corkscrews and coasters.
β€’ Assist with transporting housekeeping staff to various areas via golf carts
β€’ Perform rotational cleaning duties, including public areas, and ensure all furnishings, facilities, and equipment are in good repair.
β€’ Assist with moving furniture where required and perform additional duties such as porter assistance.
β€’ Assist with dispatching and receiving outsourced laundry and related functions.
β€’ Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to requests and enquiries courteously and efficiently.
β€’ Adhere to and maintain Health and Safety standards.

Experience and Skills:
β€’ Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a luxury hotel or similar environment
β€’ Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and methods
β€’ Good communication and comprehension skills
β€’ Strong attention to detail
β€’ High standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times
β€’ Personal and professional integrity

Inherent Requirements:
β€’ Matric Certificate
β€’ Good communication skills in English
β€’ High level of physical endurance
β€’ Valid driver’s license
β€’ Ability to work shifts, including night shifts
