Our client, a leading Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Brand Manager to drive the growth and success of their key brands. This role is instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies that enhance market share, build brand equity, and achieve sales targets. You will be responsible for market analysis, consumer insights, product positioning, and integrated marketing communications across various channels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the FMCG market, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes. Key responsibilities include developing annual brand plans, managing marketing budgets, overseeing advertising and promotional activities, and collaborating with sales teams to ensure effective go-to-market execution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, R&D, sales, and external agencies, to bring brand strategies to life. Experience in new product launches, packaging design, and digital marketing is highly desirable. This position requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a passion for building strong consumer brands. Based in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, ZA , this role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual who can lead initiatives and inspire teams. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies and annual marketing plans. Conduct market research and analyze consumer insights to identify growth opportunities. Manage brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity. Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns (advertising, promotions, digital). Manage marketing budgets and ensure optimal ROI. Collaborate with product development on new product launches and renovations. Work closely with sales teams to ensure effective in-market execution and alignment. Analyze brand performance metrics and market trends, providing regular reports and recommendations. Manage relationships with external agencies (advertising, PR, digital). Drive brand growth and enhance brand equity in the competitive FMCG landscape. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management, preferably within the FMCG sector. Proven track record of developing and launching successful brands and marketing campaigns. Strong understanding of consumer insights, market analysis, and strategic planning. Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills. Experience with digital marketing and social media strategies. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
