Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Commercial Cleaner to oversee sanitation operations at various industrial sites. This is a hands-on role requiring a meticulous approach to cleaning and hygiene standards. You will be responsible for ensuring all designated areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness, adhering to strict health and safety regulations. The Senior Commercial Cleaner will also play a role in training and supervising junior cleaning staff, managing cleaning supplies, and reporting on the condition of facilities. Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough cleaning of industrial facilities, including floors, walls, restrooms, offices, and machinery areas. Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and pressure washers. Safely handle and apply cleaning chemicals and solutions according to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols. Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with environmental regulations. Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to identify and address any cleaning or maintenance issues. Supervise and guide a team of cleaning staff, ensuring efficient task allocation and quality of work. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations. Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests or spills. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, inspections, and supply usage.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a commercial or industrial cleaner, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role. Demonstrable knowledge of cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment used in industrial settings. Strong understanding of health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Ability to operate and maintain various cleaning machinery. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Physical fitness and the ability to perform demanding cleaning tasks. Good communication and leadership abilities. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required. First Aid certification is an advantage. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
