Job Description
Water meter installation is a specialised plumbing activity. We are looking for red seal plumbers who will be responsible for leading a two or three -person team in the efficient, safe, and compliant installation of domestic water meters and associated pipework across residential properties within the City of Cape Town. The work will include aspects of excavation and reinstatements. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and be able to communicate well with clients.
A valid red seal certificate is mandatory. The candidate must have a driver's licence and more than 5 years experience in the plumbing trade. Experience with municipal water reticulation networks, water meter installation, and related maintenance is highly advantageous. There will be weekend and shift work. The contract term is 36 months. Applicants must reside in Cape Town.
