Job Description
A CONTRACT position is based in Johannesburg North for a highly skilled and qualified welder with proven experience in medium to heavy steel fabrication. This is a hands-on production role requiring precision, the ability to work independently from engineering drawings, and experience with complex welding procedures.

Key Requirements
• Relevant welding qualification (trade tested / coded welder)
• Experience welding plate thicknesses from 4mm to 12mm
• Experience with STRENX 700 high-strength structural steel is highly preferred
• Capable of assembling, jigging, and welding components precisely and accurately from engineering drawings
• Experience executing complex welding procedures (WPS/PQR compliance preferred)
• Skilled with MIG & TIG welding processes on high-strength steels
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to achieve consistent weld quality to specification
• Experience in a defence, heavy vehicle, or structural fabrication environment would be advantageous

Pay: R18 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month
