Job Description
Our distribution centre is looking for reliable Warehouse Pickers and Packers to help fulfil customer orders accurately and on time. In this role, you will be responsible for picking products from warehouse shelves using pick lists or handheld scanners, packing them securely for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. Speed, accuracy, and attention to detail are critical in this position, as errors directly affect customer satisfaction and company costs. We operate a modern warehouse facility with clearly labelled aisles, digital picking systems, and ergonomic packing stations. Full training is provided on warehouse management systems and safety procedures. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work and wants stable employment with a well-established logistics company.
Responsibilities
• Pick products from warehouse shelves accurately according to order pick lists or RF scanner instructions
• Verify product codes, quantities, and descriptions against the order before packing
• Pack items securely using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit
• Label packages with correct shipping information, barcodes, and handling instructions
• Organise packed orders on pallets or in dispatch areas according to delivery routes
• Operate pallet jacks and hand trolleys to move stock within the warehouse safely
• Assist with receiving incoming stock, checking deliveries against purchase orders, and putting stock away
• Participate in stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits as required
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in the picking and packing areas
• Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining accuracy standards above 99%
• Report any damaged, missing, or incorrectly labelled stock to the warehouse supervisor

Requirements
• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or stock handling experience is an advantage
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the duration of the shift
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 20kg repeatedly throughout the day
• Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Basic computer or handheld scanner literacy — training provided on warehouse systems
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment
• Willingness to work shifts including early mornings, nights, and weekends during peak periods
• Team player who communicates effectively with colleagues and supervisors

Qualifications
Grade 12 (Matric). Forklift licence is a bonus but not required for this role.
