Our client, a reputable facilities management company serving commercial properties across the Polokwane region, is seeking diligent and reliable Commercial Cleaners to join their dedicated team. This is a hands-on, on-site position focused on maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in various business environments, including offices, retail spaces, and common areas. The successful candidates will be responsible for a range of cleaning duties, ensuring that all assigned areas are kept immaculate and presentable. This includes tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing restrooms, emptying trash receptacles, and ensuring all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored. A keen eye for detail is essential to identify and address areas requiring special attention. Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks in commercial buildings. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in offices, hallways, and other assigned areas. Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors. Empty trash and recycling bins regularly. Replenish restroom supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors as needed. Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor promptly. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery. Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies. Qualifications:
Proven ability to perform cleaning duties effectively. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
