Job Description
Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Port Elizabeth, is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Electrical Technician to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and automated systems.
• Maintenance and repair of CNC machines, presses, furnaces, and conveyors.
• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of drives and control systems.
• Working with PLC systems (Siemens), scanners, and automation components.
• Motor testing, panel wiring, and basic configuration/programming where required.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Preventative maintenance and corrective action to minimise downtime.
• Collaborating with production, maintenance, and quality teams to improve machine reliability.

Requirements:
• Technical Matric N3 Electromechanical or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an Electrician, Millwright, Control Technician, or Service Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC systems (Siemens).
• Practical experience in fault finding, motor testing, and panel wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Own reliable transport to and from the workplace (Port Elizabeth).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work shifts and/or be available for callout work.
