Job Description
Introduction

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician with a minimum of 8 years’ hands-on experience to join our team. The successful candidate must hold a valid Wireman’s License and be capable of working independently while ensuring full compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment

Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams

Conduct fault finding and corrective maintenance

Ensure all work complies with SANS and relevant electrical regulations

Perform testing, inspections, and issue Certificates of Compliance where applicable

Adhere to health, safety, and quality standards at all times

Liaise with supervisors, engineers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met

Maintain accurate job records and reports

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualified Electrician (Trade Tested)

Minimum 8 years’ proven experience as an Electrician

Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards

Ability to work independently and under pressure

Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Physically fit and willing to work extended hours when required

Advantageous

Valid Wireman’s License (Installation / Single Phase / Three Phase )

Experience in industrial or commercial environments

Valid driver’s license

Ability to work on standby or shifts
