Position: Code 14 Driver

Job description:
• Drive a variety of Code 14 vehicles as required.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any faults.
• Load and unload materials and equipment safely.
• Adhere to the Road Traffic Act and all relevant road regulations.
• Ensure safety of other road users at all times.
• Follow Occupational Health and Safety Act rules, company policies, and road regulations.

Qualifying experience and attributes:
• Minimum Grade 12 certificate.
• Valid, unendorsed Code 14 driver’s licence with a current Professional Drivers Permit (PDP).
• At least 5 years of experience driving Code 14 vehicles.
• Hands‑on, practical approach to the job.
• Ability to drive vehicles with manual gearboxes.
• Experience operating a mounted grab crane is an advantage.
• Experience reversing a draw‑bar trailer is required.
• Hard‑working, self‑motivated, and reliable.
