Job Description
As a Code 8 Driver , you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods using light motor vehicles. The role requires adherence to road safety regulations, company policies, and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities
β€’ Safely operate a Code 8 motor vehicle
β€’ Transport goods, staff, or documents as required
β€’ Ensure timely deliveries and collections
β€’ Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects
β€’ Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks
β€’ Follow all road traffic laws and company safety procedures
β€’ Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition
β€’ Communicate with dispatch or management regarding routes and schedules

Job Requirements
β€’ Valid Code 8 driver’s licence
β€’ Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
β€’ Minimum of 1–3 years driving experience
β€’ Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations
β€’ Physically fit and able to load or unload items if required
β€’ No criminal record (background checks may apply)

Preferred Qualifications
β€’ Matric (Grade 12)
β€’ Previous experience in delivery, courier, or logistics roles preferred
β€’ Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
