Sevenhills Infrastructure is looking for a qualified

Master Installation Electrician (MIE)

to join our team. We need a technical expert who thrives in complex industrial environments and maintains the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee electrical installations for industrial and specialized Renewable solar plus BESS projects.
• Inspect and issue Certificates of Compliance (CoC) for hazardous and explosive locations.
• Ensure full adherence to SANS 10142-1 and SANS 10108 regulations.
• Provide expert fault-finding and maintenance on high-risk electrical infrastructure.
• Sign off on technical designs and installations to ensure legal and operational integrity.

Requirements:
• Current Registration with the Department of Employment and Labor as a Master Installation Electrician (MIE).
• Extensive experience with hazardous area classifications (e.g., industrial plants or petroleum sites) and Renewable projects like solar and BESS along with experience in LV and HV power systems.
• Solid understanding of 3-phase systems and heavy-duty power distribution.
• A "safety-first" mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
