As a Junior Automotive Electrician Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced master technicians, gaining hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex electrical systems in a wide range of vehicles. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting senior technicians with diagnosing electrical faults using advanced diagnostic equipment. Learning to repair and replace electrical components such as wiring harnesses, alternators, starters, batteries, and lighting systems. Performing routine maintenance checks on electrical systems. Reading and interpreting technical manuals and wiring diagrams. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Adhering to all safety procedures and company policies. Participating actively in training sessions and workshops to build technical skills and knowledge. Developing proficiency in using various hand and power tools relevant to automotive electrical work. A matriculation certificate with a pass in Mathematics and Physical Science is preferred. Previous exposure to mechanics or electrical work, even at a hobbyist level, would be advantageous.
