Company: Pt Operational Services
Location: Stomrvoel plaza
Reports to: Plaza Manager
Position Type: Entry level
Purpose: To assist when staff go on leave, you will be expected to clean the offices, store, lanes and gardens at Plazas to ensure a
clean and user friendly and hygienic environment for staff and visitors

Qualifications and Skills
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
β€’ Grade 10 (minimum)
β€’ Inhouse training
β€’ Basic Knowledge of Working of Gardens and Pressure Cleaning Equipment
β€’ Interpersonal Relationship Skills
β€’ Excellent Communication Skills in Afrikaans and English
β€’ Knowledge of Cleaning chemicals and material Safety Data Sheets
β€’ Ability to handle heavy electrical / motor equipment /machinery
β€’ The physical demands are those required of an office worker , to climb steps and to push and use cleaning and garden machinery
β€’ The work environment characteristics are those encountered in a typical office building, gardens lanes at a toll plaza

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
β€’ Ensure that gardens, stores, booth and lanes at the toll plaza are cleaned and maintained
β€’ Comply with company Health and safety Policies and Procedures.
β€’ Notify management of occurring deficiencies and breakages or need for repairs and replacement.
β€’ Follow all health and safety regulations
β€’ Make adjustment and minor repair
β€’ Cleaning of equipment / Machinery and stores
β€’ Ensure that paved surfaces are cleaned and without weeds
β€’ Ensure cleaning machinery and chemicals are as per the supplier's specification and material data sheets, kept clean and locked away when not in use
