LOWBED TRUCK DRIVER (CODE 14)

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Lowbed Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of heavy machinery across long distances.

Position: Lowbed Truck Driver (Code 14)

Location: South Africa (Long Distance Travel Required)

Salary: R18 000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

Transport heavy machinery including excavators, TLBs, and trucks

Ensure safe loading, securing, and offloading of equipment

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any faults

Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies

Plan routes and manage delivery schedules efficiently

Maintain accurate trip logs and delivery documentation

Minimum Requirements:

Valid Code 14 driver’s licence with valid PDP

Must be a South African citizen with a valid South African ID

Proven experience driving lowbed trucks over long distances

Experience transporting heavy equipment (excavators, TLBs, trucks)

Good knowledge of South African road networks

Strong understanding of load securing and safety procedures

Physically fit and able to work flexible hours
