RPO Recruitment is currently partnering with a leading packaging company in Durban to find a skilled and experienced Setter to join their team. As a Setter in the packaging industry, you will be responsible for setting up and adjusting packaging machines to ensure efficient and accurate production.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background and a passion for delivering high-quality packaging solutions.

Responsibilities:
β€’ Set up packaging machines according to job requirements and specifications
β€’ Adjust machine settings, including speed, temperature, and pressure, to optimize production
β€’ Load packaging materials onto machines and ensure proper alignment
β€’ Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
β€’ Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues and malfunctions
β€’ Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
β€’ Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
β€’ Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines

Requirements
β€’ Previous experience as a Setter in the packaging industry
β€’ Knowledge of packaging machines and production processes
β€’ Strong technical skills and ability to read technical manuals and instructions
β€’ Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
β€’ Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
β€’ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
β€’ Trade Test Certificate
β€’ Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as required
