Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct daily inspections and report vehicle faults
• Safely load and off-load materials, equipment and construction machines
• Comply with Road Traffic Act and Occupational Health & Safety regulations
• Navigate routes efficiently, including long-distance hauls
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
• Safely transport abnormal loads, including oversized or overweight cargo

Desired Experience & Qualification
• A minimum Grade 12 certificate;
• A valid unendorsed EC Driver’s License with PrDP;
• A valid Forklift licence;
• Must have valid Dangerous Goods Certificate;
• Must have own reliable transport;
• A minimum of 5 years in heavy duty driving experience;
• Must be experienced in transportation and handling of Dangerous Goods;
• Clean driving record
• Proven ability to safety load/off-load construction machines
• Able to use GPS
• Must be medically fit to perform physical work;
• Must be willing to work Flexi hours & overtime when required;
• Must be able to produce written reports on vehicle fitness and accurate delivery paperwork;
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills, specifically in English
• Strong knowledge of road safety and vehicle maintenance
