The Role

The Domestic Cleaner is responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services while fostering respectful and positive interactions with clients, their families, staff, and others, always reflecting Amana Living’s Core Values. This role is being offered on a Casual basis, driving to different clients’ homes throughout the day.

Key responsibilities:

Cleaning Services
• Deliver a high standard of cleaning across clients' homes to maintain a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment.
• Follow individual care plans to ensure consistent and hygienic cleaning, helping reduce the risk of infection.
• Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment supplied by Amana Living, in line with the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and product instructions.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, including the correct and consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Understand and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to ensure safe handling, application, and disposal of cleaning chemicals.

Safety & Compliance
• Comply with Amana Living’s Support at Home policies and procedures.
• Follow infection control standards and safe work practices at all times.
• Support and promote occupational health and safety compliance in line with Amana Living’s regulations.
• Ensure timely reporting of any incidents or hazards as per procedures.

Personal Conduct & Development
• Engage respectfully and professionally with clients, their families, staff, and others in the work environment, demonstrating Amana Living’s Core Values.
• Attend mandatory training sessions and staff meetings as required by the Hospitality Consultant.
• Take responsibility for improving work practices and contributing to personal and professional development.

Essential Criteria:
• Evidence of Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
• Successful completion of pre-employment form and reference checksValid WA Driver’s License
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, as required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential with strong customer service skills.
