Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Patrol public, crew, and restricted areas to deter and detect security risks.
• Monitor CCTV systems and security alarms.
• Control access at gangways and restricted areas by verifying identification and screening personnel, passengers, and luggage.
• Respond to emergencies, including disturbances, medical incidents, fires, and security threats.
• Investigate incidents, collect evidence, and prepare detailed incident reports.
• Enforce shipboard policies and security procedures.
• Assist with crowd management during embarkation, disembarkation, and onboard events.
• Conduct safety and security inspections throughout the vessel.
• Participate in emergency drills and assist with evacuation procedures when required.
• Work closely with ship officers, local port authorities, and law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive situations.
