The Role

An experienced Picker Packer is needed to support operations in Durban. The role forms part of how the business keeps its logistics jobs portfolio strong in KwaZulu-Natal.

The successful applicant is given the room to plan, deliver and review their work without unnecessary noise. The organisation has built its Durban team on trust, and the Picker Packer role will feel that from week one.

Key Outputs
• Ensure full compliance with road traffic, OHS Act and customs requirements
• Support cycle-count and full inventory takes with the finance team
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
• Plan delivery routes to maximise vehicle utilisation and on-time delivery
• Liaise with transporters, drivers and customers on dispatch schedules
• Process returns, claims and damaged stock through the agreed workflow
• Maintain housekeeping standards in racking, aisles and yard areas
• Investigate stock losses and contribute to shrinkage reduction plans
Candidate Profile
• Clear criminal record and proof of address
• Relevant logistics, supply chain or warehousing qualification (preferred)
• Valid Code 10 or Code 14 driver's licence with PrDP for driving roles
• Awareness of OHS Act, traffic regulations and hazardous goods rules
• 2+ years' experience in warehousing, distribution or logistics
