Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities

Handling of feedback, advice regarding technical queries from hospitals and Area Sales Managers via e-mail or telephone/cell phone

Working in the workshop and sometimes in the field (hospitals as and when required) daily to install, repair, maintain and service client's medical equipment

Updating the database on computer of records of servicing of medical equipment.

Managing and ordering associated spare parts for the medical equipment

Undertake electrical/electronic/mechanical refurbishment of existing medical equipment

Equipment fault finding

Desired Experience & Qualification

N4 - N6 in Electrical Engineering or better

Be a Trade Tested Electrician

Minimum of 10 years' post apprenticeship experience

Valid driver's license and own reliable transport

No criminal record

Good general mechanical knowledge

In excellent health

Computer literate, professional with sound verbal and written communication skills

Good working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993

Reliable, hardworking, and organised (adherence to good housekeeping protocols)

Stay within the Southern Suburbs area or within a 30km radius of Tokai/Westlake(Advantageous)
