Job Description
The Furniture Removal Driver β€” 3.5 Ton Truck will carry out daily safety checks on the 1.5 or 3.5 ton truck and keep it clean, complete inventory lists and proof-of-delivery paperwork accurately and handle fragile, valuable, and bulky items with care.

Responsibilities
β€’ Load, secure, and transport household and office furniture for local moves and large deliveries.
β€’ Plan routes and timing to meet agreed move and delivery schedules.
β€’ Provide courteous, reassuring service to customers during a stressful move.
β€’ Wrap and protect furniture and appliances to prevent damage during the move.
β€’ Handle fragile, valuable, and bulky items with care and professionalism.
β€’ Complete inventory lists and proof-of-delivery paperwork accurately.
β€’ Carry out daily safety checks on the 1.5 or 3.5 ton truck and keep it clean and roadworthy.

Requirements
β€’ Previous furniture removals, moving, or large-item delivery experience.
β€’ A valid Code B (light motor vehicle) driving licence with a clean driving record.
β€’ Able to lead a small crew and work to a tight schedule.
β€’ Careful handling of fragile and valuable household goods.
β€’ Confident driving and manoeuvring a 1.5 or 3.5 ton truck in residential streets and complexes.
