Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welder - Gauteng, Pretoria East

#DriveYourCareerForward as a skilled TIG Welder within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing and fabrication environment.

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and detail-orientated TIG Welder to join their workshop team. This role is suited to a hands-on individual with strong aluminium and stainless-steel welding experience, who takes pride in neat fabrication and quality workmanship.

Remuneration:
R 15 000 – R 23 000 Per month depending on experience - Benefits include Provident Fund

Duties
• Reporting to the workshop foreman
• Advanced TIG welding on aluminium and stainless steel components
• Fabrication and assembly according to technical drawings and specifications
• Grinding, finishing and fitment of fabricated components
• Working accurately from digital drawings, photos and specifications
• Maintaining high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Ensuring workshop safety and cleanliness standards are maintained
• Working independently while meeting deadlines and production targets

Requirements:
• Proven TIG welding experience within a fabrication or automotive environment
• Strong aluminium and stainless-steel welding ability
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Excellent finishing and fabrication skills
• Reliable, disciplined and physically fit
• Ability to work well under pressure and within a team environment
• Trade qualification advantageous but not essential
• Welding certification advantageous
• Valid driver’s licence advantageous
• Basic computer literacy advantageous
