Electrician – Electro-Mechanical Maintenance

An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join their technical team.

Minimum Requirements:
• Valid Electrician Trade Test Certificate
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in electro-mechanical repairs, installations, and maintenance
• Proven experience working on industrial electrical and electro-mechanical systems
• Experience within power generation, construction, industrial, or engineering environments will be advantageous
• Sound knowledge of electrical fault finding, preventative maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting

Skills and Competencies:
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on electrical and electro-mechanical equipment
• Ability to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on electrical systems and machinery
• Sound understanding of electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
• Knowledge of plant safety procedures and compliance standards
• Ability to conduct preventative and corrective maintenance activities
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Proficient in maintenance reporting and job card completion
