Role Overview

A well-established electrical and energy solutions business is seeking a qualified Electrician with proven solar experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and solar systems across residential, commercial, and project-based environments.
Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
• Install, commission, and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
• Install and connect solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and related components
• Conduct site assessments and prepare for solar and electrical installations
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on electrical and solar systems
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical plans
• Perform DB board upgrades, wiring, and general electrical maintenance
• Ensure all installations comply with relevant electrical codes and safety standards
• Test systems, perform inspections, and ensure optimal system performance
• Liaise with clients on-site and provide technical support where required
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment

Minimum Requirements
• Red Seal Electrician certification (essential)
• Proven experience with solar installations (residential and/or commercial)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and fault finding
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
• Experience with inverters, batteries, and solar components
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
