Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to safety. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various destinations in and around Durban.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatchers and clients to provide updates on delivery status
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized truck at all times

Qualifications:

- Valid Code 14 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a truck driver
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to operate various types of trucks and equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items
- Attention to detail and strong time-management skills
