SUMMARY:

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in the heavy equipment and earthmoving sector. They are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Electrician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced, field-service environment.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems on earthmoving equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, bulldozers)
• Troubleshoot faults in wiring, sensors, control units, and CAN bus systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime
• Interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals
• Conduct on-site and workshop-based repairs
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Complete job cards and maintain accurate service records
• Requirements:

Trade Test Certificate as an Auto Electrician
• Proven experience working on earthmoving or heavy-duty equipment
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electronic control systems
• Valid driver’s license (Code 08 or higher)
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
