Senior Sanitation Supervisor

This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding the reputation of the establishment. You will lead a team of cleaning staff, providing training, guidance, and supervision to ensure all areas are meticulously maintained.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive sanitation schedules and procedures, conducting regular inspections to identify and rectify any deviations from standards, and managing the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. You will also be responsible for training new staff on sanitation protocols, safe handling of cleaning chemicals, and the proper use of equipment. A thorough understanding of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP) is essential. You will work closely with kitchen and operational management to coordinate cleaning activities and ensure minimal disruption to daily operations.

Responsibilities: Supervise and manage a team of cleaning staff to ensure adherence to sanitation standards. Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive sanitation programs and schedules. Conduct regular inspections of all facility areas, identifying and rectifying sanitation deficiencies. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels. Train new and existing staff on proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and safety procedures. Investigate and address any sanitation-related complaints or concerns. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning efforts and minimize operational impact. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, inspections, and training. Promote a culture of cleanliness and safety within the facility. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; further certification in sanitation or hygiene management is a plus. Minimum of 4 years of experience in sanitation or cleaning supervision, preferably within the hospitality, food service, or healthcare industry. In-depth knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and industry best practices. Understanding of food safety standards and regulations (e.g., HACCP). Proven leadership and team management skills.
