Job Description
Responsible for accurate picking, packing, and handling of stock within the warehouse, ensuring all parts are prepared correctly for dispatch, workshop use, and dealer orders.

This is a hands-on support role requiring attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions consistently.

This role is best suited to candidates with previous warehouse picking/packing experience in a structured environment.

It is not suited to candidates without warehouse experience or those looking for general labour roles without stock responsibility.

Core Responsibilities 1. Picking of Stock
• Pick parts according to picking lists
• Ensure correct part numbers and quantities
• Check stock before issuing
• Report missing or incorrect stock
2. Packing of Orders
• Pack orders securely for dispatch
• Ensure orders are complete and correctly labelled
• Prepare items for courier or collection
• Prevent damage during packing
3. Receiving & Handling
• Assist with offloading deliveries
• Move stock to correct locations
• Assist with unpacking and organising stock
• Maintain order in packing areas
4. Warehouse Support
• Assist with general warehouse operations
• Support stock controller and assembly technician when required
• Maintain clean and organised workspace
• Assist with movement of stock and units
5. Stock Control Support
• Assist with stock counts and cycle counts
• Report damaged or missing stock
• Follow stock handling procedures
6. Safety & Discipline
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures
• Use equipment correctly
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality
• Follow instructions from supervisors
Minimum Requirements
• Previous experience in:
• Picking & packing OR
• Warehouse environment with stock handling
• Good attention to detail (essential for accuracy)
• Able to follow instructions and processes consistently
• Physically able to handle stock and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and disciplined
• Based in or able to commute to Bellville
Advantageous
• Experience working with part numbers / stock codes
• Exposure to stock control or inventory systems
• Experience in a structured warehouse environment
