Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Picking and Packing:

Accurately pick products from inventory shelves based on customer orders or packing lists.

Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transportation.

Label packages correctly and ensure that all items in an order are accounted for.

Order Fulfilment:

Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.

Organize and prepare orders for dispatch or delivery.

Maintain a high level of speed and accuracy in order processing.

Stock Management:

Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming inventory.

Conduct regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

Organize stock in designated areas and maintain a clean, orderly workspace.

Warehouse Operations:

Follow all established warehouse processes and procedures to ensure efficient operations.

Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., trolleys, pallet jacks) safely and responsibly.

Assist with the loading and unloading of goods as needed.

Quality Assurance:

Report any damaged, missing, or incorrect items to supervisors immediately.

Ensure compliance with company standards for product handling and packaging quality.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all workplace safety protocols and guidelines.

Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Identify and report potential hazards to management.

General Warehouse Duties:

Assist with cleaning and maintaining warehouse facilities to ensure a safe working environment.

Support other warehouse team members with tasks as directed by supervisors.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment as a picker, packer, or general worker is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures, including inventory management and order fulfilment.

Basic numeracy and literacy skills for reading orders and processing documentation.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Physical Requirements:

Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and carry items

Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions (e.g., cold storage, noise).
