RPO Recruitment is currently partnering with a leading packaging company in Durban to find a skilled and experienced Setter to join their team. As a Setter in the packaging industry, you will be responsible for setting up and adjusting packaging machines to ensure efficient and accurate production.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background and a passion for delivering high-quality packaging solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Set up packaging machines according to job requirements and specifications
• Adjust machine settings, including speed, temperature, and pressure, to optimize production
• Load packaging materials onto machines and ensure proper alignment
• Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues and malfunctions
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines

Requirements
• Previous experience as a Setter in the packaging industry
• Knowledge of packaging machines and production processes
• Strong technical skills and ability to read technical manuals and instructions
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Trade Test Certificate
• Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as required
