Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the City of Polokwane for a Certified Welder. The Certified Welder will be responsible for performing professional-grade welding tasks such as assembling, installing, and repairing metal structures and components in accordance with blueprints, layouts, and specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating various welding tools and equipment, conducting inspections of welding operations to ensure quality and safety, and maintaining equipment to ensure proper functionality. Adherence to safety protocols and standards is an essential component of this role.

Qualifications
• Proficiency in various welding techniques such as TIG, MIG, and arc welding
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Knowledge of tools and equipment maintenance techniques
• Familiarity with safety standards, protocols, and procedures in welding operations
• Physical fitness and manual dexterity for operating welding equipment
• Certification in welding from a recognized institution or equivalent experience
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Prior experience in the manufacturing, construction, or mining industries is an advantage
