Purpose of the Role

To ensure the accurate receiving, binning, picking, packing, quality checking, and dispatching of commercial automotive parts while maintaining high standards of efficiency, accuracy, safety, and customer service in line with company operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Receive, bin, pick, pack, quality check, and dispatch parts accurately and diligently at all times.
• Support the workshop by ensuring the constant and efficient supply of parts.
• Double-check all picked parts before packing and dispatch.
• Action picking slips promptly to avoid customer delays.
• Ensure no parts are left unattended or without proper documentation.
• Allocate all receipted parts to the correct location as soon as possible.
• Assign locations to new parts and update the system accordingly.
• Re-bin picked parts that are more than 5 days old back to their allocated locations.
• Maintain excellent task performance and personal work efficiency.
• Comply with minimum operational standards required by the company.
• Participate in relevant training programmes.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues.
• Report damaged parts, misconduct, unsafe practices, and hazardous situations.
• Maintain a customer-first approach at all times.
• Use company vehicle responsibly for delivery and collection of parts when required.
• Adhere strictly to Health and Safety regulations.
• Follow company rules regarding tools, special tools, and company assets.
• Keep the work area and surrounding areas clean and tidy at all times.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties when requested.

Minimum Requirements
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
• 1–2 years' experience in picking/packing commercial automotive parts (advantageous)
• Valid Code 8 or Code 10 driver's licence
• Sound understanding of warehouse operations
• Physically fit
