We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Professional Van Driver to join our logistics team based in the vibrant city of Johannesburg, Gauteng . This is a critical role responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of goods and materials to various destinations within and around the metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, an impeccable driving record, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
Operate a company van in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Plan and execute daily delivery routes to optimize time and fuel efficiency. Load and unload goods carefully, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and any incidents or delays. Provide exceptional customer service to clients at delivery points, including obtaining signatures and proof of delivery. Assist with inventory management and stock checks as needed. Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics managers regarding route status and any challenges encountered. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the company vehicle. Qualifications:
Valid Code 10 driver's license with PDP (Professional Driving Permit). A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in a similar role. Excellent knowledge of the Johannesburg and surrounding areas road network. Demonstrable ability to operate a panel van or light commercial vehicle safely. Strong time management and organizational skills. Good physical stamina to handle loading and unloading tasks. Clear criminal record and no outstanding traffic violations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good communication and interpersonal skills. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, blending on-road operational duties with essential administrative tasks that may occasionally be performed remotely.
